Wall Sawing

Wall Saws are one of the more popular saws we operate at Greene’s Inc. They cut into existing concrete foundations for installation of a doorway or window opening. The wall saw technique is fast and convenient allowing our customers to save money and valuable time. Our saws can cut into a depth of 24” in concrete.

Slab Sawing

Slab Sawing, also referred to as Flat Sawing, is another very popular sawing technique we use. Flat Sawing can be used for roadways/highways, sidewalks, patios, structural foundations, parking lots, factory/store floors, and airport runways.

For freshly poured concrete (green slabs), it is often recommended to cut ½” to 2” control joints to minimize the chances of cracking or damage in the new slab. We have highly trained specialists who excel at this type of cutting from years of expertise.

Our specialty equipment includes a variety of gas and electric powered saws for every operating condition. We can easily cut heavily reinforced slab to a depth of 24 inches.

Core Drilling

Greene’s core drilling equipment can safely and effectively create holes as small as ¼ inch to as large as 48 inches in diameter for pipes, manholes and other large span penetrations. We core holes to any depth, at any angle and special diameter bits are available, including ½” sizes.

Wire Sawing

When traditional concrete saws are deemed impractical for a job, we offer our wire sawing techniques. The wire saw is perfect for cutting concrete flush to grade and can cut any shape or thickness of concrete columns, piers, beams or foundations. A wire saw consists of a thin wire, coated with diamond tipped cutting beads. This wire is threaded through a series of pulleys and repeatedly pulled through the concrete, kind of like a wire being pulled through a chunk of clay.

Curb Sawing

The curb saw is used for mostly cutting driveway approaches. If you are a home builder with a subdivision needing some curbs to be cut or a home owner enlarging your driveway, our curb saw is the machine you’ll want to ask for when scheduling work. With a concrete or asphalt road in place, it cuts from the front and gives a clean, precise finish leaving your driveway approach looking brand new.

Breaking and Removal of Concrete

Greene’s can safely break up and remove concrete on the job site in an efficient manner and has the tools and expertise required to get the job done correctly.
